  • Chase customer online banking assistance experience

While the phone staff are exceedingly professional, polite and competent, the banking policies of Chase have become more onerous than ever. First, the online choice list it too extensive and wait time is unacceptable. I believe they know this and choose to not prioritize this issue. I have bank accounts with other banks and their online service is much faster. This has been a longstanding issue. Second, for a random security question, I was asked the amount of my monthly mortgage payment to another bank...REALLY??????? Completely invasive and unacceptable. I will be moving some... More...

This is the only option I was give to contact someone with CHASE about this locations closing it's drive up service!! • Horrible customer service

The banker named Becky she was completely rude and did not care about the customers concern. I was trying to refinance my car and she showed no interest in helping me out she actually told me to go online and to do the process online. I think that if I was a bank worker it would be of my best interest to make money for the bank and help out the customer right there instead of them going to another bank. My mother was also doing a transaction and she didn't know what she was doing. Horrible doesn't know her job and didn't even have a good attitude. More...

  • Chase Closed Account

i opened a account at Chase and used as the guidelines', from one day to the other my account got closed. i tried calling the customer service only to stay on hold for several hours, finely i entered in person to the chase location at 210 Wallabout st. Brooklyn N.Y. 11206 and the nasty representative told me"Chase has a policy they may close any account without any reason". How discussing, i will never suggest for any of my friends to open a account at Chase. More...

  • Sudden closure of my account

After four years Chase Bank suddenly closed my account freezing my money and not telling me why. Went into the branch talked with the Branch Manager and someone at Chase main office I they refuse to tell me why. The representative on the phone kept repeating the same line: Sorry however the law doesn%u2019t require us to tell you so we won%u2019t%u201D The branch office tells me this is the standard line and is all they ever know and these closures are happening at an increased rate. Just because there is not a law requiring them to state why they closed the account doesn%u2019t alleviate... More...

  • Unbelievable

Tried to use my card today to buy rabbit food (like $10) and was told the card was invalid. So I called Chase thinking now what and was transferred to three different people and put on hold for 40minutes before they could figure out the problem. I was told word for word that Chase has made a decision that they no longer want to bank with me and my account is terminated. I was not given a reason even though I kept asking why, all they said was they could not disclose that information to me. I said what happens to my money, they said I will receive a check for the money in my account, in TEN... More...

  • 401K loan check deposit made Chase to close account

My husband deposited his 401K loan check to our checking account with CHASE BANK on May 4, 2015. It was supposed to clear on May 6th. On May 7th when he tried to pay his lunch, he was told that he had no money in his bank account. CHASE had frozen his account including what we already have before the 401K loan check deposit. We have our pay checks on direct deposit with CHASE. The 401K check was declared suspicious by CHASE BANK. Today, May 11th my husband was told that CHASE had closed his account and no money will be available within ten (10) business days. We are scheduled to go out of... More...

  • Quick Pay frome Chase client to non-Chase recipient

In the last 4 or 5 months, attempting to accept quick pay via iPhone, I have gone through 5 or more people (and the whole reset process) for password reset. The reset works for the immediate payment but in the period, noted above, does not work 1 month later for the same amount from the same Chase Bank Client. That means for 4 transfers, you have taken 12 hours approximately of my time. You have no short cuts, so every time I have to go through the same computerized programs and people who must redirect me to other "specialists". THERE ARE NO OPTIONS TO COMPLETE THIS PROCESS... THIS BANK DOES NOT EXCEPT CASH MONEY FOR DEPOSITS! I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF SUCH A THING...A BANK THAT DOENT TAKE MONEY! WOW! So let me was last Saturday and my 19 year old son in College at NAU needed some gas money for the weekend. I told him I would go make a cash deposit into his checking account. I went to the in store location at Happy Valley Rd. & 67th Avenue. I stood in line for quite a while, there was only 1 teller to help all the people in line. I told the teller that I wanted to deposit $60 dollars into my sons account. He proceeded to ask me if I had an account... More...

  • JP Morgan Chase Bank - Charged $34 for item posted for ONE HOUR

A check hit my account one hour before my direct deposit hit. Check hit at 11pm and Direct Deposit hit at 12am. I woke up to find I was charged $34 insufficient fund fee for ONE HOUR. Not only that, but they never showed the check coming through. I checked my online banking after 5:00 pm AT LEAST 5 times and not once did it ever show a check pending. After calling and talking to a customer service agent, a specialist and a manager and explaining to them that I am a single mother and that was all I had to live off of for the next week and a half they told me sorry and that they could send me... • Chase Bank at Highlandvillage Tx is not worthy of my money

I went to this bank today to open a new account with a program that I received in the mail. For a $15000.00 deposit and open a new checking Chase would give you a small rebate. Unlike any of the other Chase Banks there was no one to assist with your banking needs. A teller who tried to be helpful asked me what was needed and I told her it was for new accounts. Banker Tryce Kennedy yelled from a back room "Grab a seat and wait" I ask how long to the teller and Kennedy yelled again. • Chase Bank

Chase Bank Rep- Kara B. Graham provided the poorest customer service I have ever experienced. This complaint speaks to her unprofessionalism, lack of knowledge and sensitivity in dealing with customers who have experienced a recent death of loved one. Her overall "I am smarter that you" attitude really caused me to put this complaint in writing. First, she had no idea of what she talking about. She had to dial about 3 different persons to get information. Then she kept alluding to the policy of what happens to the assets once a person dies and they don't have a will. The... More...

  • ABYSMAL Customer Service and Impossible Hoops for Newlyweds

I have been trying since we got married two years ago to add my husband to my Chase Mileage Plus account in order to merge our finances and be able to responsibly manage our accounts in one place. They have jumped us through hoop after hoop of useless tasks (first adding him as an authorized user, which only gets him a card, even though we wanted him to have full access to the account) and constant wild goose chases that end up nowhere. • Chase Bank altering account charges.

A couple of months back I made a purchase at a merchant for 16 bucks and some change. I was upset because I was overcharged but didnt notice it until a couple of days later, ok fine. About two or three weeks go past and I deposit my pay check into my chase account the very next day chase removes that 16 bucks and some change charge from its weeks old position (it literally disapeared) and moves it up above the new deposit and then deducted it again. So I called chase to dispute this charge and to see what excuse they had. The CSR asked me if I had been to the merchant at all and I say yes... More...

  • Song Download costs $34.99!

Recently, my Yahoo music account was hacked, and someone used it to purchase 12 songs at $0.99 each. At the time the account balance was only about $2.00 because the deposits from the week hadn't yet been made. After the second song purchase, Chase began charging me $34.00 per transaction! Transactions totalling $9.90 magically morphed into $349.90. Each $0.99 transaction was hit with a $34.00 insufficient funds fee. Huh??? I went to the branch to dispute the charges; however, since the Yahoo music account was the source of the fees, Chase flatly refused to refund the charges.... More...

  • Don't Chase your money

I signed up to have my paychecks deposited on the Chase Paycard. I was assured that it could be used online and that I could pay bills with it. I was even told that my tax return could be deposited on it as well. At first everything was going smoothly and I was able to make online transactions. My tax return and my paychecks have continued to be deposited on the card without issue. Then suddenly, Sunday, February 10th, 2013, I was not able to make any online transactions at all and my rent payment was denied so I received a three day notice from my landlord to pay or action will be taken. My biggest issue against Chase is that they claim to care about protecting customers from overdrafts on accounts but they really need to change their advertising. • Poor services

Chase banking has been efficient ever since I joined their clients years ago, but as of late the bank has begun to decrease in quality service and control. I was recently over drafted due to the banks inability to "foresee the transaction" as well as maintenance and black out times. All this came down to a purchase going through and the failsafes I set in place to prevent it not preventing it. The bank claims that it is never a bank error and trusting in their warning systems is flawed. Something no one would really like to hear from a bank. I'm extremely dissatisfied with... More...

  • Chase is well named - they are chasing me away!

I used to be with Washington Mutual. Then Chase came, bought them out and instilled their corporate policies on us former WAMU customers, which are impersonal and self-serving! WAMU treated me like a person and took into account (pardon the pun) my individual situation when dealing with things such as overdrafts and unforeseen fees. Chase has not and WILL NOT work with you. For the first time in 5 years I was one day late with my Chase Continental Master Card payment, I admit that it was my error, but considering they are charging outrageous interest rates and they were kept in existence by a bailout, I feel that they should be willing to waive that one $39 late fee. Chase telephone banking is very poorly organized. I could not figure out how to get the posted transactions to be repeated.
