  • Chase customer online banking assistance experience

While the phone staff are exceedingly professional, polite and competent, the banking policies of Chase have become more onerous than ever. First, the online choice list it too extensive and wait time is unacceptable. I believe they know this and choose to not prioritize this issue. I have bank accounts with other banks and their online service is much faster. This has been a longstanding issue. Second, for a random security question, I was asked the amount of my monthly mortgage payment to another bank...REALLY??????? Completely invasive and unacceptable. I will be moving some... More...

Chase is a terrible company and should be shut down. I tried to make my payment for my personal credit card today online and the system would not except it stating that I can make only one payment to the same account with the same payment method in 72 hours. Problem is I had made 2 payments back to back with no problems the day before and the same day of my attempted payment. I then called and tried to make a payment over the phone and was told the same thing even know I explained that the system let me make two payments within 24 hours on the same account with the same card. They could... More...

  • Horrible customer service

The banker named Becky she was completely rude and did not care about the customers concern. I was trying to refinance my car and she showed no interest in helping me out she actually told me to go online and to do the process online. I think that if I was a bank worker it would be of my best interest to make money for the bank and help out the customer right there instead of them going to another bank. My mother was also doing a transaction and she didn't know what she was doing. Horrible doesn't know her job and didn't even have a good attitude. More...

  • Sudden closure of my account

After four years Chase Bank suddenly closed my account freezing my money and not telling me why. Went into the branch talked with the Branch Manager and someone at Chase main office I they refuse to tell me why. The representative on the phone kept repeating the same line: Sorry however the law doesn%u2019t require us to tell you so we won%u2019t%u201D The branch office tells me this is the standard line and is all they ever know and these closures are happening at an increased rate. • Unbelievable

Tried to use my card today to buy rabbit food (like $10) and was told the card was invalid. So I called Chase thinking now what and was transferred to three different people and put on hold for 40minutes before they could figure out the problem. I was told word for word that Chase has made a decision that they no longer want to bank with me and my account is terminated. I was not given a reason even though I kept asking why, all they said was they could not disclose that information to me. I said what happens to my money, they said I will receive a check for the money in my account, in TEN... More...

  • 401K loan check deposit made Chase to close account

My husband deposited his 401K loan check to our checking account with CHASE BANK on May 4, 2015. It was supposed to clear on May 6th. On May 7th when he tried to pay his lunch, he was told that he had no money in his bank account. CHASE had frozen his account including what we already have before the 401K loan check deposit. We have our pay checks on direct deposit with CHASE. The 401K check was declared suspicious by CHASE BANK. Today, May 11th my husband was told that CHASE had closed his account and no money will be available within ten (10) business days. We are scheduled to go out of... More...

  • Quick Pay frome Chase client to non-Chase recipient

In the last 4 or 5 months, attempting to accept quick pay via iPhone, I have gone through 5 or more people (and the whole reset process) for password reset. The reset works for the immediate payment but in the period, noted above, does not work 1 month later for the same amount from the same Chase Bank Client. That means for 4 transfers, you have taken 12 hours approximately of my time. You have no short cuts, so every time I have to go through the same computerized programs and people who must redirect me to other "specialists". THERE ARE NO OPTIONS TO COMPLETE THIS PROCESS... A check hit my account one hour before my direct deposit hit. Check hit at 11pm and Direct Deposit hit at 12am. I woke up to find I was charged $34 insufficient fund fee for ONE HOUR. Not only that, but they never showed the check coming through. I checked my online banking after 5:00 pm AT LEAST 5 times and not once did it ever show a check pending. • Chase Bank at Highlandvillage Tx is not worthy of my money

I went to this bank today to open a new account with a program that I received in the mail. For a $15000.00 deposit and open a new checking Chase would give you a small rebate. Unlike any of the other Chase Banks there was no one to assist with your banking needs. A teller who tried to be helpful asked me what was needed and I told her it was for new accounts. Chase Bank Rep- Kara B. Graham provided the poorest customer service I have ever experienced. This complaint speaks to her unprofessionalism, lack of knowledge and sensitivity in dealing with customers who have experienced a recent death of loved one. Her overall "I am smarter that you" attitude really caused me to put this complaint in writing. First, she had no idea of what she talking about. • ABYSMAL Customer Service and Impossible Hoops for Newlyweds

I have been trying since we got married two years ago to add my husband to my Chase Mileage Plus account in order to merge our finances and be able to responsibly manage our accounts in one place. They have jumped us through hoop after hoop of useless tasks (first adding him as an authorized user, which only gets him a card, even though we wanted him to have full access to the account) and constant wild goose chases that end up nowhere. • Chase Bank altering account charges.

A couple of months back I made a purchase at a merchant for 16 bucks and some change. I was upset because I was overcharged but didnt notice it until a couple of days later, ok fine. About two or three weeks go past and I deposit my pay check into my chase account the very next day chase removes that 16 bucks and some change charge from its weeks old position (it literally disapeared) and moves it up above the new deposit and then deducted it again. So I called chase to dispute this charge and to see what excuse they had. The CSR asked me if I had been to the merchant at all and I say yes... More...

  • Song Download costs $34.99!

Recently, my Yahoo music account was hacked, and someone used it to purchase 12 songs at $0.99 each. At the time the account balance was only about $2.00 because the deposits from the week hadn't yet been made. After the second song purchase, Chase began charging me $34.00 per transaction! Transactions totalling $9.90 magically morphed into $349.90. Each $0.99 transaction was hit with a $34.00 insufficient funds fee. Huh??? I went to the branch to dispute the charges; however, since the Yahoo music account was the source of the fees, Chase flatly refused to refund the charges.... More...

I signed up to have my paychecks deposited on the Chase Paycard. I was assured that it could be used online and that I could pay bills with it. I was even told that my tax return could be deposited on it as well. At first everything was going smoothly and I was able to make online transactions. My tax return and my paychecks have continued to be deposited on the card without issue. • Poor services

Chase banking has been efficient ever since I joined their clients years ago, but as of late the bank has begun to decrease in quality service and control. I was recently over drafted due to the banks inability to "foresee the transaction" as well as maintenance and black out times. All this came down to a purchase going through and the failsafes I set in place to prevent it not preventing it. The bank claims that it is never a bank error and trusting in their warning systems is flawed. Something no one would really like to hear from a bank. I'm extremely dissatisfied with... More...

Received a check as a graduation gift and tried to deposit it on June 1st. I was told that it would be a week until my funds were ready, waited two weeks and saw none of my money so I visited the branch. Apparently they were unable to contact the maker of the check because they had been trying the wrong phone number and when given the correct one, they still continued trying the wrong one. I asked the maker of the check to visit the branch to verify his identity, but it was “confidential”, he left a copy of his I.D. and his *CORRECT* phone number. Still, no one called him. Savings account was closed, card was cancelled, and I had no access to *ANY* of my money. Not only the check that I had tried to deposit, but also my previous funds, so I had no way of eating until given an ATM card days later. At this point it had been a month since I deposited the check. It was suggested that I ask the maker to cancel the check and instead give me a money order, but upon contacting his bank he realized the money had been withdrawn from his account on June 2nd. (A month ago). I threatened to bring my attorney into this and that's when it finally seemed like anyone began *TRYING* to help me. The maker was contacted by my banker and the fraud department, his identity was verified, and I was told that I would have the money deposited into my account in the next 48 hours. Waited three days, still nothing. Visited the branch again, possibly for the 10th time in the last month and a half, and was told it would be another 48 hours. Waited four days: nothing. Two days ago, it was deposited. It's nice to know that it takes them nearly a month and a half to deposit a check. I have been utterly patient, kind, and understanding while waiting for *MY* money to be given to me. What angers me the most is that for whatever reason, Chase thought it would be a good idea to withdraw the money from my uncle's account but refuse to give it to me, merely to "prevent fraud." Well, that's fraud. He didn't write the check for Chase, but it was still taken and held onto for much longer than necessary.

I would like to say I am complimenting the team~work of Alysha Reddy & Antonio Lencioni of Chase Bank on 2nd & Market Street in San Francisco, California. Where do I send my 'Thank You' card? They worked so hard on resolving an issue that has been concerning me since July of 2013. They treated me like I was the only customer on the planet. I'd like to know who their supervisor is so I can say how lovely they made my banking experience. Miss Reddy said, "I love your accent." Not everyone can comprehend what I'm saying, I'm from England. There is complimentary coffee at this branch. Mister Lencioni is such a gentleman he asked if I wanted seconds & he ended up getting me a glass of water. I'm so impressed. Kudos & congratulations on hiring well, JP Morgan Chase Bank! peace in the chAos

I went to The Mason Montgomery And Bowen Dr. Branch today 06/05/13 at 5:00 PM and was helped by Mrs. Leanne Kilpatrick who showed a customer service attitude to the best powered to the infinity, meaning she is an EXCELLENT AND BEYOND THE BEST PERSON. This business is fortunate for having a person like this lady. Thanks a thousand. Manuel Avila

Whoever is writing bad reviews has clearly never banked at chase wilcrest houston before. For unmatched customer service, and to find an agent who will go out of there way to resolve issues I highly recommend Rosh. He is an outstanding banker whose goal is clearly customer service oriented.

My name is Kanden and i recently went to the chase branch at 5113 s. john young pkwy in orlando, fl looking to get refinanced on my auto loan. The banker Ernest Obas helped me get my interest rate dropped to 5.5% compared to honda financials 20% and also explained the freedom card and now I'm saving money on gas and everything else! I was also turned down on the loan by bank of america so i will definitely be staying with chase. Thanks again

I am about to take my money to another bank because chase keeps bothering me everytime I go out of town and they want me to get an number everytime the computer updates this is very stressful having to look out for where you put the info that you started with. I do not have time to call the bank everytime I go out of town. and if I don't call they lock up my card so I can not use it. they just asum you can get to a place where some one has a computer this is very upsetting to me I do not have time to be calling my bank and letting them know that I have to go out of town who does that? if Chase does not leave me alone I am going to find another bank and take my money with me

NOTHING BUT HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Chase has really taken the personal out of personal banking. You can speak with someone day to get information and the next day its totally different in regards to their procedures. I have to laugh in my last call regarding a dispute when I asked if there was an associate in a department, I was asked did I have the associate last name or ID and that is the only way to look up this associate. So of course we could not find the person who gave the wrong information. I had to settle for this persons answer to my situation so when I asked him for his ID number, I was told that they are not allowed to give that out. LOL!!! The policy changes in just a few minutes. Chase needs to really look at how they handle the public and how to treat customers as they have no reality check. Just horrible and full of misinformation on procedures and policies.
